Subject: vintage Nathan Schulhof

I thought you might be interested in a vintage radio interview with Nathan Schulhof which Radio Netherlands of Amsterdam conducted on July 10th 1997. Interesting because what he predicts is really the way we use iPods and iPads now.

Have no way of contacting him directly, so perhaps you can pass the message on.

When I was a Boy America was a very different place . The word communism was a word that was almost forbidden to say. We were told of poverty , lines for food, housing, people on streets. We were told that The Democratic way was the only way to the point if one had socialistic views they were a outcast. Americans believed like sheep. Sound familiar to the Viet Nam and Iraqi war, "Weapons of Mass Destructions!!
When we think back to when we were 6 -15 the vision we had of the USSR and Communism.
Isn't that vision America today? Food line, shortages and a very corrupt government.
What has happened we have become a Fast food society with everything Now!
From the 50's on only the upper middle class could not afford to fly, have a color TV, a cleaning lady etc. There was a clear distinction between the classes. The upper, upper middle, middle, and lower.
Today that four class system does not exist. The class system is being diminished daily to the haves and have nots. On the good side most everyone can afford to fly, but cell phone, purchase goods at super stores that previously were not affordable. That is a good thing the bad part of it , is no customer or individual service, lack of nutrition in our foods, low tolorance on education, and few take pride in ther job, craftsmanship has moved to China. One of the results is we have created poor work habits and a sense of entiltelment in our youth.
